Gui de Almeida, GIS Technician

Since August 2006, Gui de Almeida has been a team member of CognoCarta GIS, as a part-time employee while finishing his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida (USF). A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mr. Almeida brings an international understanding of cultural diversity to the CognoCarta team. Majoring in Urban Geography, his curriculum at USF focuses on a mix of geography related fields that include GIS skills, urban planning, and cartographic elements.

During his time at CognoCarta, Mr. Almeida has gained valuable knowledge and skills that help him deliver a wide range of services that strengthen the CognoCarta team.  Mr. Almeida is set to graduate from USF in the Spring of 2007 with honors for being a member of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Geographical Honor Society.
